It was originally issued in as a double LP featuring tracks recorded in three different sessions: JulySeptember and October Alongside the US-issue there was a single album release in Japan the same year titled Lee Morgan All-Star Sextet, which only comprised the session of The first and remastered CD release, that came out in as part of the Blue Note "Connoisseur Series", included only this session.
